Over the years I had contemplated signing up with a PT but I never really felt like it was achievable or something I should be doing. After biting the bullet and setting up a meeting with her, I was hooked. From the moment we started coaching we clicked. Britt has helped me rediscover my love for feeling strong, an insane amount of love for myself & my body, for working out as well as discovering a love for the industry and community (the community she has created and the WGI community).
It’s been just over two years since I made a commitment to myself, my health and my fitness. To say that things have changed would be an understatement. I have struggled with a lot of different things over the past couple of years, coming to terms with trauma, healing and learning in what ways my brain may just work different to others (and that it's not a bad thing).

I started off this journey from what felt like rock bottom… I had been training since I first signed up at World Gym Ipswich in 2018, the comfort zone upstairs was exactly that. My comfort zone, the only place I would train. Some nights I would use every single machine. I would go in the middle of the night, training out my anger and feelings until I couldn’t.
I had trained with a couple of friends over the years, some helped me enjoy training and find a new love in working out and unfortunately some did the complete opposite and made me feel incompetent, incapable and weak (mentally, physically and emotionally). It got to a point where I was working out for outside validation, something to do and in hopes that I wouldn’t be treated terribly by others due to how I looked or who I was. It was at a different type of low, then I met Britt.
I started with Britt in 2022; at that point I had 2 children and had gained weight I was not happy with and had also gained unhealthy eating habits. I had always struggled with crippling anxiety and depression, and it had reached a point I desperately needed to make a change. After joining World Gym and being guided towards Britt, she instantly made me feel at ease and happy in the decision to better myself.
Britt has a friendly and real approach to her coaching; I was taught how to eat my favourite meals but improved, and how to make better daily choices to improve my fitness and health. Now having fast forward to almost three years later my entire mindset and appearance has completely changed. I used to think that after having children I would never be able to achieve my ideal body, but I have, and even better than that, I’m making and achieving new goals I would have never even dreamt of before, all because I decided to start With Purpose and better myself.
Britt is one of the most amazing women I know, and I will forever be grateful for our beautiful friendship and all the tools and guidance she has given me. I am the best version of myself!
I started back at the gym 8 weeks ago and like many times, felt stuck and unsure of where to start. I've tried online challenges, online macro calculators and trying to do it on my own which has all lead to 'all or nothing' mentality.
As a small business owner myself, I was at the gym and saw Britt walking on the treadmill while on her laptop working away and I knew instantly, that's my coach. A hardworking, strong independent woman like Britt was the only person who was going to coach me.
I'm a straight to the point girly, an open book, so on my discovery call I blurted out anything and everything to Britt, even some MI's but we love them right! I've only been coaching with Britt & With Purpose since the end of July but since then I have seen so many amazing changes within my health and well being, as well as my confidence. As well as making many new friendships within the With Purpose community. I feel strong, healthy and like I'm finding myself again & as a single mum, losing myself was the hardest thing I ever went through.
i have always been so insecure about my body and before starting with purpose i had an unhealthy relationship with food. i got into unhealthy habits and mindsets surrounding food. i would try going to the gym every now and then and i would stop, i was never consistent or had a plan with it.
I started With Purpose because i wanted to feel confident in my body and improve my gym anxiety. Britt promised me when i started that she will help me with my gym anxiety and i can honestly say she has exceeded expectations. Since starting with Britt i have such a greater understanding of food and how to eat to fuel your body. i also have a better mindset surrounding food, if i have a bad day that’s okay !! i have also over came my gym anxiety and i actually enjoy going by myself now
I didn’t expect to feel this good and see the results i am seeing already i am actually shocked and so proud of myself for starting my journey With Purpose. I was on the fence about signing up With Purpose and i am so thankful i did because i wouldn’t have gotten where i am now with my progress without Britt’s guidance and support.

Before starting with Britt I had a very unhealthy relationship and obsession with food, I was constantly eating take out as well as always overeating and snacking late at night and would sometimes even eat till I physically couldn’t anymore. I was in denial that my lifestyle was having a negative impact on myself worsening each day. My life has changed in so many ways physically and mentally. I have now lost 33kgs as well as gaining a healthy relationship with food and understanding the way my body works and how to nurture it.
